Why we do not add every benefit into one giant dollar total

Free access, discounts, fixed-value credits, financial aid, startup programs, competitions, and unquantified opportunities are different economic claims. SBI keeps those types separate rather than implying that every student can claim every listed dollar amount.

How to interpret the data

Definitions and limitations

What does “verified” mean?

A current public listing must be supported by an official provider, government, university, or program source. See the full verification methodology.

Does a catalog count equal the number of benefits one student can claim?

No. Eligibility varies by country, school, degree level, age, account status, application rules, deadlines, and other provider requirements.

Why can counts change?

Programs can launch, expire, change eligibility, or become temporarily unavailable. The public catalog automatically excludes benefits that no longer meet its current active-verification rules.

Can these aggregate statistics be cited?

Yes. Cite Student Benefits Intelligence and link to this page for the live aggregate snapshot. For the terms of a specific benefit, cite the official source linked on that benefit’s page.
